Dr Akshatha completed her MBBS from KIMS, Bangalore, MD in Paediatrics from SDM Medical College, Dharwad, and Fellowship in Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology from Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore.

Dr Akshatha has worked in reputed institutions such as Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore.

Dr Akshatha specializes in hormonal disorders in children and managed endocrinology clinic caring for over 250 children with Type 1 diabetes at Cheluvamba hospital, Mysuru. She also treats children with growth and other hormone related conditions.

As an expert speaker ,she has given talks in national and international paediatric conferences and has research publications in reputed international journals.

She has delivered public awareness talks on childhood diabetes and adolescent health through Akashavani, Mysore.

Currently, she works as Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist at Bhanavi hospital, Mysore.
